AgroPort center in Bačka Palanka celebrated its first anniversary on June 26. On this occasion, Victoria Logistic and the Port of Bačka Palanka welcomed business partners and offered them an organized tour and presentation of their offer. Vladimir Grujičić, the General Manager of the Port of Bačka Palanka and the director of Victoria Logistic’s storage sector presented the services and results achieved so far.

The 58th Conference on the Production and Processing of Oilseeds themed “Innovations for a better world” was held from June 19 to 24, in Herceg Novi, Montenegro. The focus of the Conference was on scientific innovations and the application of new findings in oilseed industry practice.

The third “Danube Soya Field Day — From NON-GMO soybeans to NON-GMO milk” was held on June 15 in Lugovo near Sombor. It was attended by over three hundred soybean manufacturers from the whole country as well as representatives of the processing industry and scientific community.

For the second time in a row, Iskon edible sunflower oil was presented with the prestigious “Superior Taste Award”, awarded by the International Taste and Quality Institute, iTQi. This is a leading global organization made up of chefs and sommeliers awarded with famous Michelin stars, who test food products and promote top quality of food and drinks.

Victoria Logistic Call Center has been receiving calls from Serbian agricultural producers for four years. Victoria Logistic offers oilseed producers to choose between and combine three purchase models that were introduced last year and received approval and a lot of praise from business partners.

The first model of daily, forward price starts at the beginning of oilseed sowing and ends at the beginning of harvest. The current market price of soybean and sunflower is determined each workday at 10 a.m. This price is valid through to 3 p.m. the same day.

Victoria Logistic and the Veterinary Institute Subotica, Victoria Group member companies, gathered around 500 business partners on the occasion of the 84th International Agricultural Fair. The gathering was held on May 18 in the assembly hall of the Novi Sad Fair. Management representatives from both companies discussed the results of the previous cooperation and plans for the second half of the current year with their partners.

Companies with the best achievements in the export of agricultural products were awarded by the association “Žita Srbije” (“Association Serbia Grains”) in the framework of “Seed Day”, organized within the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad on May 17. Victoria Group was awarded for its successes in the export of soy and sunflower meal. The award was handed to Mladen Jovanović, General Manager at Victoria Logistic, a Victoria Group member company.

Victoria Group is among the 15 largest exporters from Serbia in the first quarter of this year. According to the data from the Customs Administration and from the list of the largest exporters issued by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia, Victoria Group has achieved EUR 36.8 million of sales in the foreign market. This placed the company on the 14th position for the quarter January-March, 2017.

Last year, Victoriaoil entered the Chinese market, and this year the breakthrough is continued with the Iskon sunflower oil. Within the first quarter, 100,000 liters were exported to the canton of Shanghai. The company is expecting to sign contracts for larger quantities which would then be available on this market in the course of 2017. Chinese consumers can buy Iskon oil at the retail chain Young, and it is used by several hospitality businesses as well.
