Victoria Logistic traditionally at the Conference of Agronomists

This year, the 51st Conference of Agronomists and Farmers of Serbia, organized by the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops from Novi Sad, was held on Zlatibor Mountain from January 22 to 28, 2017. At the same time, the 63rd “Agricultural Engineering” (“Poljoprivredna tehnika”) Symposium was held, organized by the National Scientific Society for the Agricultural Engineering and the Faculty of Agriculture of Novi Sad.

Research carried out by the Business Info Group on the largest and most profitable companies in Serbia between 2008 and 2015 focused particularly on export and company performance by sector. The processing industry is the second most common sector after the commercial sector, and it generates nearly a quarter of the total business income within the group of 100 best ranked companies.

Ointment production in Subotica

In November, the plant for the production of ointment for general use was set up in the Veterinary Institute Subotica. The plant covers an area of around 200m2 and it was built in accordance with all the requirements of the domestic legal regulations and standards regarding the production of objects for general use.

Victoriaoil’s activities at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia

At the meeting of the Group of vegetable oil manufacturers within the framework of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia held in November, Srđan Popov, Victoriaoil Operations Director, was elected as Group chairman. This Group is a part of the Association of Food Industry of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, and in the same month the Operations Director of our oil refinery was elected deputy chairman of its board.

Sojaprotein at the international workgroup for reporting in the field of environmental protection

An international workgroup was held in Skopje on November 8 and 9 as part of the Support to the Establishment and Advancement of Pollutant Release and Transfer Register (PRTR) in Western Balkan Countries and the Republic of Moldova project, implemented by the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe, and supported by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety. The Register is a European record of industrial plants from the standpoint of environmental protection.
