A presentation and tasting of food products from the group of fine bakery products similar to biscuits was held at Sojaprotein on April 27. The products were prepared using different kinds of soybean flour.

The First Counseling Conference of the confectionery industry in the region was held on April 20 and it was organized by “IHIS Nutrition”, a science institution oriented towards food technology, supported by the Group of confectionery products manufacturers, as a part of the Economic Chamber of Serbia, and Victoriaoil as one of the sponsors. This meeting gathered around 150 participants from Serbia and this region, who had the opportunity to hear the most up-to-date information on scientific achievements and new technologies in the confectionery industry.

Victoria Group supported the fourth Conference of Agricultural Students on the topic “Perspective and Development of Agriculture in Serbia in the Next Decade”, which was held from April 22 - April 26 on Zlatibor Mountain. The conference gathered more than 400 students from agricultural faculties and universities, both from the country and the region, with the aim of presenting the students with innovations in the area of agriculture, as well as the current status of agriculture in Serbia.

The Second international fair and the conference on renewable energy sources, RENEXPO Western Balkans, was held in Belgrade on April 22 and 23. Attention was primarily paid to the plants for biomass and biogas as the fuel for the future, energy efficiency projects which enable more rational consumption of fuels, as well as to the possibilities for investments in this area through connections made between investors, industry leaders, ministry representatives and members of expert associations, and engineering offices.

Victoriaoil traditionally helps the operation of soup kitchens in Kosovo. This year, in cooperation with the charitable organization “Majka devet Jugovića”, 150 l of Iskon oil was delivered to soup kitchens to help day to day meal preparation for over 2,000 of the poorest citizens in this region.

Furthermore, Victoriaoil also provided help and donated oil for more than 50 socially vulnerable families from Majdanpek. More than 100 l of Iskon oil was donated, and the Human Rights Committee from this town distributed the oil to the families.

On the last day of March, a study on the biggest exporters and net exporters in Serbia was presented at the Tanjug press center within the “Arguments” forum, and a panel on the subject “How to Stimulate Export” was also held.

Victoria Group supported the holding of the “NIN Focus” conference about the agricultural policy of Serbia, which was organized in Belgrade on March 25 by the NIN weekly news magazine with the institutional support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia.

Victoria Logistic, together with their business partners, successfully implemented an education project for agricultural producers by holding over 30 educational presentations. The project was launched in February, and over 1,500 agricultural producers from Subotica, Kikinda, Šid, Koceljeva, and other places from Serbia attended the presentations.

Last week, from January 25 to January 31, the 49th Conference of Agronomists, one of the most important conferences for the agricultural community representatives in our country, was held on Zlatibor. Victoria Logistic traditionally participates in the Conference of Agronomists on Zlatibor, and this year, apart from meetings with business partners, it held a round table with the inspection companies SGS and Jugoinspekt, as well as with the representatives of the storekeepers who cooperate with them.
