Complying with its quality policy and commitment to continually improve operations, Sojaprotein, a member of Victoria Group, has completed certification according to the ISCC standard and receipt of certified soybean as well as production of soya oil in accordance with ISCC requirements is expected in the next period. ISCC is an internationally accepted certification system for sustainability and gas emissions with which Sojaprotein proves compliance with the EU's Renewable Energy Directive.

The sunflower harvest has just started and the purchase of this agricultural raw material is in its initial phase. The start of the harvest in most locations is expected by 5 September, and the intensive harvest of soybean is expected between 10 and 15 September.

Victoriaoil, a member of Victoria Group, supported the campaign “Izađi mi na teglu” (English: Go Out and Fill a Jar), organised by the BašTaMašta Association and donated 1,200 litres of Iskon oil. “Izađi mi na teglu” is a one-day event involving a competition in the preparation of ajvar (red bell pepper relish) and is held in 30 cities throughout Serbia.

The campaign started today, 28 August, in Kanjiža, and will end with the final event in Belgrade, in Kalemegdan Fortress, on 11 October when it will be known who are the best ajvar-makers in the country.

Sojaprotein, a member of Victoria Group, has donated 20 tons of the soybean product Soprotex N to the Red Cross. The entire donation was delivered to the Red Cross warehouses in Mladenovac and Novi Sad, from where it will be distributed to 25 soup kitchens throughout Serbia. The donation was arranged in accordance with the needs of the local soup kitchens, and the soybean product will be used in Bečej, Šid, Subotica, Ada, Babušnica, Kanjiža, Aranđelovac and many other towns and municipalities.

Veterinary Institute Subotica, a member of Victoria Group, has expanded its range of pet food products. New tinned dog food, under the already recognised brand name of ‘Dog&Style’, and cat food, branded ‘Mac Mac’, are available in stores now.

Dog&Style dog food with chunks of veal is made especially for adult dogs using the highest quality fresh meat, contains the vitamins and minerals required for proper growth and development, is fully balanced and contains no added artificial flavours.

The Victoria Logistic Agroteam organised training for its partners in using the “Knjiga Polja” (‘Field Register’) application.  The training was intended for business partners possessing the ISCC certificate for rapeseed. Owing to this very certification, Victoria Logistic provided them with free use of the electronic field register application.

Victoria Logistic, as one of the leading buyers of oilseeds and grains in our country, has introduced the ISCC standard - the international certification system for sustainable production and gas emissions, as well as biomass and bioenergy.

ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) serves as evidence of compliance with environmental and social criteria as well as traceability, which qualifies biomass companies for legal recognition in accordance with the objectives of European Directive 2009/28/EC (EU RED).

The Forum for Sustainable Communities, organised by the Business Leaders Forum and the Smart Kolektiv, with the support of USAID and ISC, was held in Belgrade on 27 June. The conference brought together representatives of the civil, public and private sectors who discussed existing intersectoral cooperation and possibilities for its improvement.
