Following inaccurate information, which appeared on Sunday 24 February 2013, that Subotica Veterinary Institute jeopardised citizen safety and health, the company Victoria Group would hereby like to inform the public that:

• Veterinary Institute Subotica does not produce feed with meat-bone meal. This ingredient is exclusively used for the production of pet food (for dogs and cats), which can also be seen in the declarations of other pet food producers, in line with legal regulations (Articles 16 and 43-45 of the Rulebook on TSE, published in Official Gazette No. 96/2010).

Belgrade, 21 February 2013 – Following public allegations that the analyses - performed by SP Laboratorija - to test for the presence of aflatoxins in Serbian milk was driven by political motives, Victoria Group (the parent company of SP Laboratorija) hereby states that these and similar accusations are entirely inaccurate and unfounded.

IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, and Victoria Group signed a US$75 million loan agreement today, for developing the Serbian agriculture sector - essential for stimulating employment, economic growth and exports.

Victoria Group, an agro-industrial leader in the region, will use the six-year credit to refinancie existing loans and strengthen its working capital base. The funds will be used by the Group's four core companies: Victoria Oil, Sojaprotein, Victoria Logistics and Fertil.

Bečej, 20 February 2012 – On Tuesday, 12 February 2013, SP Laboratorija, one of the first accredited laboratories in Serbia, received two separate requests to analyse milk samples: one from the Consumer Protection Association of Vojvodina and the other from the Provincial Secretariat of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.

The company Victoria Group has entered The Foreign Investors Council (FIC), independent business association that gathers around 130 foreign companies operating in Serbia, established to actively promote development of the business environment through open dialogue with the Authorities and other relevant stakeholders. The main goal of the association is to influence the improvement of business climate in Serbia by making concrete reform proposals.

Company Victoria Group and Clinical Centre of Serbia have signed today the Contract for donation in the amount of 200.000 euros for renovation of the Department for Urgent Urology within Urgent Care Centre of Clinical Centre of Serbia. This donation will provide considerable improvement of sanitary and technical conditions, application of new technological processes, as well as the revitalization of old installations in the Department for Urgent Urology.

On the ceremony announcing the best athletes of Paralympic Committee of Serbia, held in Belgrade on February, 6th, 2013, Victoria Group was presented with a special award for contributing to the development of Paralympic sport in Serbia. Together with its member, Veterinarski zavod Subotica, the company provided financial aid for the preparations for Paralympic games 2012 in London, where our athletes Tanja Dragić i Željko Dimitrijević won gold medals.

On the sixth annual meeting  of Serbian Association of Managers (SAM) new management was elected, gathering well-recognized businessmen from Serbia. They will lead  Serbian Association of Managers for the next two years, focusing on economic development, cooperation with other business associations from the region and Europe, and establishing partnerships within SAM. Together with new president, Milan Petrović, and vicepresident, Bojan Radun, there were elected new members of Managing Board with Zoran Mitrović, General Manager of Victoria Group, as one of them.

Victoria Group has been a major partner of this year's Third International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility "CSR Forum" held on 11th December in Belgrade.

CSR Forum visitors had the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in the field of corporate social responsibility and to share experiences with directors of multinational and local companies and representatives of business, government, diplomatic missions and international organizations.

Following the unanimous vote of the Business Leaders Forum Serbia, Victoria Group became a member of this association, working in accordance with the principles of social responsibility in all areas of its business. The award was handed out to Victoria Group in a ceremony in Belgrade at the end of November, and in addition was awarded to the companies, Nestle Adriatic, Titan Cement plant Kosjerić and Mercator-S.
