The Veterinary Institute Subotica has organised a contest, “Billboard Me”, on the Facebook profile of its dog food brand Dog&Style. Through the specially designed Facebook application, participants should devise a Dog&Style slogan that will be written on billboards as part of an outdoor campaign. The five most creative slogans will be rewarded with Samsung cameras and the possibility to be read all across Serbia.

Victoria Group is the main sponsor of 135th seminar of European Association of Agricultural Economists, organized in Belgrade from 28 to 30 August. The conference gathered over 150 domestic and foreign experts in the field of agricultural economy. Main topic of this year's lectures and workshops are Doha negotiations, challenges of global agricultural trade and future of multilateral trading system in WTO.

Victoria Group traditionally supports the popular festival Gospojina in Novi Bečej, organized for the 20th time this year from 22 to 27 August. The event gathers a large number of visitors from all around Serbia, giving them the opportunity to taste fish soup on cooking contest, watch the horse carriage show or enjoy the tamburitza music. Many famous musicians from the Balkans region will be performing this year as well. Over 200,000 visitors are expected this year.

Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia – Plant Protection Department - decided on 23 July 2013 that SP LABORATORIJA AD Bečej has met all the requirements for testing of agricultural plants in the laboratory. The decision was based on the inspection of phytosanitary inspector performed on 19 July 2013, confirming that SP LABORATORIJA AD Bečej has met all requirements in terms of technical and technological equipment, land and staff capacity to carry out these tests.

During the official visit to Serbia, the delegation from the Republic of Uganda visited Victoria Group company. The delegation, lead by Mr. Hon Sam Kutesa, Minister of the External Affairs of Uganda, accompanied by Mumtaz Kassam, empowered Minister in the Embassy of Uganda in Rome; Jovan Latinčić, honorary Consul of Serbia in Campala; as well as Nkayivu Ssenabulya, Personal Assistent to the Minister, visited Sojaprotein factory in Becej as well the corporate centre of Victoria Group in Belgrade where they were welcomed by the General Manager, Zoran Mitrović.

Victoria Group has donated 100 anti-hail rockets to the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Sector for Emergency Management in order to protect citizens and domestic agricultural crops from storms. Anti-hail rockets of 6km range will enable timely response in case of hail storms.

Victoria Group has supported traditional event "Games Without Frontiers for Children with Disabilities"  one more time. The event, organized for the ninth year in a row by humanitarian organization "MaliVelikiLjudi", took place in Bojčin Forest gathering over 100 children from ten social protection institutions across Serbia: Kulina, Stamnica, Sremčica, Kolevka-Subotica, Veternik, Bela Crkva, SOS Kamenica and Šabac.

On 14 June culinary magazines of the Color Press Group – “Good food”, “Send recipes” and “Desserts and cakes” – organized “Food Talk 2013”, the first regional conference about food.

More than 100 professionals from food industry and specialized media, as well as culinary and wine experts from the region gathered in restaurant Salaš 137 in Čenej.  Among the participants were Đorđe Balašević, Stevo Karapandža, Oliver Mlakar, Jovica Jovičić, Ana Gifing, Velimir Dejanović and other renowned gastronomy representatives.

The largest SAP annual conference – SAP Forum “Experience the future of business” was organized in Belgrade, covering the latest innovations and global trends in IT business solutions. After the keynotes of Simon Kaluža, General Manager of SAP Central and Eastern Europe, and Vojislav Genić, General Manager of SAP South-Eastern Europe, participants were familiarized with the possibilities of SAP applications in support of business development strategies, as well as with clients’ experiences.
