On October 31 and November 1, the final regional meeting of the National Supervisory Boards of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia within the “GMO-free Quality Soybean From the Danube Region” project of the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) was held in Teslić.
The 13th “Games Without Frontiers” were held on July 4 at Zemunski kej in Belgrade as part of the permanent activities of the charity organization “maliVeliki ljudi” (“littleBig people”). This traditional event aims at taking children with disabilities out of children’s homes and socializing them along with developing their competitive spirit. Around 100 children from 12 children’s homes competed in various games adapted to suit their abilities and watched the entertaining performances of a magician and a band that put on a show during breaks.

The corporate page of Victoria Group in the Serbian language was launched in September 2014 and from then on there has been a constant growth in the number of “Likes”. This month it even exceeded 70,000 followers!
The 58th Conference on the Production and Processing of Oilseeds themed “Innovations for a better world” was held from June 19 to 24, in Herceg Novi, Montenegro. The focus of the Conference was on scientific innovations and the application of new findings in oilseed industry practice.
The third “Danube Soya Field Day — From NON-GMO soybeans to NON-GMO milk” was held on June 15 in Lugovo near Sombor. It was attended by over three hundred soybean manufacturers from the whole country as well as representatives of the processing industry and scientific community.
Victoria Logistic and the Veterinary Institute Subotica, Victoria Group member companies, gathered around 500 business partners on the occasion of the 84th International Agricultural Fair. The gathering was held on May 18 in the assembly hall of the Novi Sad Fair. Management representatives from both companies discussed the results of the previous cooperation and plans for the second half of the current year with their partners.
Companies with the best achievements in the export of agricultural products were awarded by the association “Žita Srbije” (“Association Serbia Grains”) in the framework of “Seed Day”, organized within the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad on May 17. Victoria Group was awarded for its successes in the export of soy and sunflower meal. The award was handed to Mladen Jovanović, General Manager at Victoria Logistic, a Victoria Group member company.
Victoria Group is among the 15 largest exporters from Serbia in the first quarter of this year. According to the data from the Customs Administration and from the list of the largest exporters issued by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia, Victoria Group has achieved EUR 36.8 million of sales in the foreign market. This placed the company on the 14th position for the quarter January-March, 2017.
After the “Battle for the Babies” (“Bitka za bebe”), Fund B92 is organizing a national educational program “Battle for Knowledge” (“Bitka za znanje”) aimed at primary school children. Victoria Group supported this program as well and gave its contribution by donating teaching tools for KODigranje (Code-Play), the first project within the “Battle for Knowledge”.
The constitutive session of the Grains, Industrial Crops and Fodder Group at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia was held in Belgrade, on April 11. Goran Radić, Director of the “Stari Tamiš” Company, was elected the group chairman and Olga Čurović, Director of “Industrijsko bilje” Business Association, was elected deputy chairwoman. The company Victoria Logistic is represented by Natalija Kurjak, Marketing Director.
