The Supervisory Board of Victoria Group has appointed Vladimir Čupić as the new Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of the company. Čupić comes to this company from the Atlantic Group, where he held the position of the Director at the Representative Office for Serbia. He gained his extensive experience in the banking sector in AIK Bank and Hypo Alpe Adria Bank, which he led for 12 years as a General Manager.

The Victoria Logistic has prepared two education brochures for agricultural producers - on soil analysis and an electronic book of fields, explaining the significance and advantages gained by using them.

The Call Centre of Victoria Logistic has been receiving calls from agricultural producers for over three years. The professional service of the company has given more than 1,000 pieces of advice regarding most diverse agricultural issues, and the users rated it as a fast and easy way to obtain useful and reliable information.

After the promotion of the range of finished soybean products for use in human consumption in catering facilities on the territory of the municipality of Bečej, Sojaprotein began to promote this production segment in restaurants in Novi Sad.

As a part of the activities at the 83rd International Agricultural Fair, Victoria Logistic and Veterinarski Zavod Subotica organized “A Day for Partners”. Business partners of both companies gathered on May 19 in Novi Sad. More than 500 guests attended the gathering where they could talk to the managerial staff and their associates about their cooperation and further plans. On this occasion as well, the significance of team work and long-term partnerships backed by reliability and integrity was promoted.

As a part of the TAIEX program of the European Commission (Technical Assistance and Information Exchange), in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, an expert mission took place in Sombor from May 18 to 20 with the theme “Methods of New Soybean Sorts Trial with the Purpose of Registering them with the Official List of Sorts”.

The best food products earned recognitions of quality in Novi Sad, at the traditional manifestation during the 83rd International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad. In the category of edible oils, the expert jury of the Novi Sad Fair awarded a Grand gold medal to Victoriaoil, for their edible sunflower oil.

The second regional agro-business conference “Across the Field to Europe” was held on March 15 within the 83rd holding of the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad. The central topic was the possibilities of expansion of trade and cooperation in the regional agro-business and using pre-accession IPARD funds.

On May 10 in Belgrade, organized by the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) and the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development), a work meeting was held on the implementation of the Law on Financing and Securing Financing of Agricultural Production. This first workshop within the program for the promotion of the Law was intended for representatives of banks, processing companies and suppliers, while during upcoming gatherings basic legal solutions will be presented to the authorities’ representatives i.e.

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia has published a report on the current macroeconomic developments containing a list of the top 15 exporters in the period January – March 2016, according to the Customs Administration data.

Victoria Group took the eleventh position with the export value of €36.1 million in the first quarter of this year. The company is, at the same time, the top exporter in the food sector.
