With a clear strategy, mision, vision and with a clear target in the developing process in all its five production sectors, today’s Veterinary Institute “Subotica” a.d. is a leader in all its five production programme. The common characteristic that follows every production sector is a clear strategic long-therm plan with a clear responsibilities and tasks within the company. It is necessary to mention that efficent quality control is the imperative need which we strictly depend on in our business. The Veterinary Institute “Subotica” a.d. is the first veterinary institution in our country that have gained the HCCP certificate. The reconstruction of the quality management system under the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 was done in October 2007. Trough strategic foreign partnership we define our development in most of our production sectors, and the final goal in pharmaceutical production is enlarging the present products palette.We fulfilled our vision trough buying 100% of shares in the company “Symbiofarm” d.o.o. Belgrade, which is done in September 2007. Trough this intergration we enlarged the present product palette of 42 products with 38 more products. With this product palette of pharmaceutical products, and also with all other production programme we will be able to provide to our customers better service, and also we will be the only company which could do the complete service from prevention, trough feeding and treatment the animals. With this two large pharamceutical productions, enlarged products palette, new design for current products and also with the involving new kinds of selling procedures we expect the significant raise of pharamceutical products profit share in the complete revenues of VZS. Consider to the pet food production in 2007 started the production of cat’s food, and in the production for dog’s food it is started the production of three new products along the present five products. Due to filled up capacities in the factory for animal food production in Subotica, at the beginning of the year started the reconstruction of the factory in Backa Palanka. The development of this production will be trough partnership with the “Deuka” producer of animal food in Germany and becouse of that in the near future we attend to buy another factory for food production which will be the same or even bigger capacities than the factory in Subotica. At the beginning of 2008 starts the reconstruction of pharmaceutical sector and implementation of GMP standard in pharmaceutical production which will enable our better position on the market in country and abroad.
