In June 2011, Victoria Group ad business system has become the owner of Zrenjanin sugar factory in the city of Zrenjanin, which was in bankruptcy from 2009. Acquisition contract was signed by Nikola Vujacic, General Manager of Victoria Group and Vladislav Cvetkovic, Director of Republic Agency for Privatization in presence of Nebojsa Ciric, Minister of Economy.

The intention of Victoria Group is to invest 50 million euros with the aim of producing liquid sugars and starch for export. It is expected that the rebuilding and reconstruction of the factory will be completed by the October next year, and this new facility will fulfill European standards.
