By signing the Stabilization and Association Agreement, Serbia will have to accept the EU standards of environmental protection. These commitments imply contributing the efforts in environmental protection to promote its sustainability. The Agreement stresses protection from natural disasters to ensure the protection of people, animals, property, and to safeguard the environment from disasters caused by human action.
