Company Victoria Logistic Ltd, Novi Sad, has, since its founding in 2008, been 100% owned by business system Victoria Group. The company currently employs 235 people. The main activity of the company consists of organizing primary production and distribution of oil crops and distribution of materials, purchase of oil crops and grains, as well as transport and storage of goods for the needs of the company itself, but also, for the entire group. The company organizes production of soybean, sunflower and rapeseed, conducts purchase of soybean, sunflower, rapeseed, wheat, maize and barley, is engaged in transportation of oil crops and grains and implementing placement of mineral fertilizers, plant protection chemicals and oil crops, and grains seed.
The company is market leader in the field of purchasing and marketing of sunflower (40% market share), soybean (50%), rapeseed (70%), wheat (12%) and maize (3%). In 2009, the company organized the production of soybean on 90,000 hectares, 70,000 hectares of sunflower, and rapeseed on 10,000 hectares. In the same period 160,000 tons of sunflower, 150,000 tons of soybeans, 38,000 tons of rapeseed, 250,000 tons of wheat and over 200,000 tons of maize were bought. Total volume of transportation of all goods in 2009 exceeded a million and a half tons. The company owns silos with a total capacity of 170,000 tons. Along with storage capacities in companies Victoria Oil and Sojaprotein (80,000 tons and 100,000 tons, respectively), the total capacity for storage of their own goods reached 350,000 tons. Also, during the year in external storages, an additional 650,000 tons of various goods is stored and kept. In 2009, the company invested most in the expansion of its transportation-distribution-storage capacities. The largest investment in 2009 was the purchase of grain silos in Žednik, with the value of 4 million euros. Planned investments in the coming period amounting to 800,000 euros predict the modernization of equipment on silos and improving technological processes. In addition, a significant portion of the funds will be directed at further improving the market position of the company in Serbia’s agro market.
